![]() I’ve added back to the Community folder FSLTL, a couple of free liveries, Navigraph 3000/5000 avionics add-on, Navigraph charts, NeoFly add-ons, Volanta. I’ve added back in my Marketplace livery packs, Zinertek, LVFR North America vehicles, various Seafront Simulations sea traffic and I’ve added back Navigraph to my Community folder and the sim is remaining stable. More testing is needed to narrow down which one of these is the cause. It seems totally odd to me that the handcrafted airports hundreds to thousands of miles away would cause the issue. ![]() What is really, really, odd about this is that I’d get the crash at rural autogen airports. It is looking like one or more of the airports I have are causing the issue, that or the UK2000 Common Library that is required for a couple of them. That is the most stable I’ve had the sim other than stripped down. 4 of those airports were MS/Asobo handcrafted and one was an autogen. I’ve been able to load into 5 different complex airplanes at 5 different airports. With my latest test, I’ve removed all my Marketplace airport purchases and I’m not seeing the crash anymore. I have tried several 1st and 3rd party airports: KSFO, KATL, IniBuilds KJFK & EGLL, and Aerosoft Brussels. Why, then, am I seeing two static aircraft, incidentally, with the Southwest livery I chose for the 737, in the background? If static aircraft can still spawn regardless of my settings, then that would maybe be a reason that my 3rd party livery packs are, possibly, causing the issue. I’ve got Ground Aircraft Density set to Zero and I’ve got Aircraft Traffic Type set to OFF. However, what is really confusing to me is this screenshot. I was able to load into the 737 at KSJC (3rd party airport) without a CTD, at least on one load (it had immediately crashed after clicking when I had all the livery packs installed). My tests with default sim aircraft have all been with the default livery, too, and they crash.ĮDIT: Okay, I’ve stripped out all my livery packs save for any liveries that were included with Microsoft add-on aircraft (Junkers Ju 52, ATR, AN-2, etc.) and the I’ve kept the livery folders for the two PMDG aircraft I have (DC-6 & 737-700). That is actually very surprising to me, especially since I do not have any static aircraft or live/AI traffic turned on, so it isn’t like the sim would be trying to load a problematic model/livery at an airport in the background. ![]() The issue lies in the aircraft, liveries and/or airports. I’ve only installed my Marketplace aircraft, liveries and airports, which I’ve added to the Deluxe, Premium, WUs, CUs, Top Gun and Bullseye Landing content, which I’ve narrowed all down as stable. TIP: When at KSJC in tower view, go to your control settings and look for the "View track/pan Toggle" allocate a keyboard key stroke to it (i allocated a button on my controller) this will unlock the user aircraft, then you can use the hat switch to pan 360 degrees around the airport, hitting the key stroke again (in my case a button) will return you to the user aircraft position.Well, in my case, it is absolutely not related to any “global” type add-on. If you have any AI Traffic Addons please make sure they have "NOT" installed another AFCAD for this airport as this will also cause a conflict.ĭelete/remove the BGL files and the default airport will then be active. Make sure there is only ONE KSJC.BGL FILE in the Addon Scenery/scenery folder at any time, remove/delete any other KSJC.bgl to avoid incorrect parking and other airport conflicts. IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE ONLY USE THESE KSJC.BGL FILES. Start up the Flight Sim and the changes will be present. "COPY" them from that folder and "PASTE" them into the Scenery\Global\Texture folder. Go down the list until you see jfk_jetway.dds (day texture) and jfk_jetway_LM.dds (night texture). NOTE: If you have already done this with any of my other airports then this step is not necessary.īrowse to the FSX\Scenery\NAME\Texture folder. There are jetway extensions, and to see these you need to add the textures for them, please follow these steps: Take the KSJC_ADE_OBJ.BGL file and place it into: Flight Simulator X/Scenery/Global/scenery folder. Take the KSJC_ADE_RS.BGL file and place into: Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder. There are 2 BGL files: KSJC_ADE_RS.BGL and a KSJC_ADE_OBJ.BGL file.
